Event - The Barclays Little Book of Wonders.
Venue - Hedsor House
Guests - 40
Needing a venue to impress a number of high net worth clients, Barclays called upon Hedsor House and Melissa Webb to create a beautiful bespoke event.
Clay pigeon shooting in the bitterly cold winter weather meant guests needed a warming and seasonal menu. Canapes of mini beef wellingtons, wild mushroom parcels and passionfuit mess helped keep out the cold.
A rather warmer session followed where Michelle Lomas showed guests the art of flower arranging.
As guests changed for dinner the inimitable Jack Scott set up a pre supper wine tasting and light hearted quiz where guests were invited to share their knowledge of the grape. Jack selected the wines to match each course over dinner and joined the guests to explain his choices.
Dinner was a delicious menu of;
Devonshire crab roulade with pickled cucumber and crab tuille.
Cauliflower with raisins and capers.
Marinated rump of lamb with purple potato, Jerusalem artichokes, kale and sweetbreads.
Aubergine and mushroom with purple potato, Jerusalem artichokes and kale.
Selection of English cheese.
Chocolate with beetroot.
We styled the entrance hall, the reception room and used Michelle Lomas Floral Design for the gorgeous flowers.
Guests stayed in the beautiful and recently restored bedrooms and the following morning were provided with our bespoke breakfast service.
'I just wanted to send a quick message to thank you and your team for all the hard work you put into the event at Hedsor House last week.
It was apparent how much time and effort went into planning every detail from the food down to the tableware & what’s more, it was all executed perfectly.' Catriona Anne Murray littlebookofwonders
